Airbus LPC Revalidation Renewal

LPC TYPE RATING REVALIDATION

For Pilots who need to revalidate a type rating within the 12 months of validation of the rating.  This check is conducted by a qualified UK/EASA TRE, who are very experienced on type.  Usually 2 hours is sufficient to complete the required regulatory items.  All revalidation’s are required to be carried out on a full-motion certified simulator (in accordance with EASA Part FCL).

An annual LPC is required if your license is still valid (12 months validity from last check), thereby keeping your type rating current.

If your type rating has expired beyond the 12 months, you will require a Renewal.

If your rating has lapsed beyond the 12 month validity date, refresher training is required by an ATO who will determine an individual package appropriate to your experience.  Upon completion of the refresher training, an LPC is carried out in the simulator which validates your type rating again, for a period of 12 months.
